One Sacrifice for Sins. ⁵That is why, when Christ came into the world, he said,

“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
    but a body you have prepared for me.
⁶You took no delight
    in holocausts and sin offerings.
⁷Then I said, ‘As it is written of me in the scroll,
    behold, I have come to do your will, O God.’ ”
